When Founts Run Dry

Today's Photograph, by Khalid Hussain:

The name that I came up with for this photograph is: When Founts Run Dry.

My thought was due to the historic nature of the mosque, how those that made it were long gone yet the work of there hands is still standing and still beautiful.

This quote seemed particularly suited to this photograph:
"The conscious mind may be compared to a fountain playing in the sun and falling back into the great subterranean pool of subconscious from which it rises."
― Sigmund Freud
